A very appealing appearance: watermelon red, trending to orange, topped by snowy froth with a hint of pink. The head lasts, with excellent cling. The aroma is inconsequential, faintly redolent of malt, and, perhaps, cherries. Hops liven the taste, which culminates in a sophisticated ashiness and a clean ending, accompanied by a sharply carbonated mouthfeel. All in all, a drinkable seven-percenter that merits thoughtful interpretation. I’d come back for more.
