I was hyped to find a microbrewery in Cyprus in the Lonely Planet book. It was tough to find, even with a GPS. Tracked it down to a trendy little area with some cafe's and street vendors. The place looked awesome on the inside, with wood and exposed brick. It had the tubs and full setup for brewing above the bar. That's the only thing that was good about this place....
Started off with a request for a beer menu (yes, I expected something from a microbrewery)...
The waitress didn't understand and told me their beers - Hoegaarden, and roughly 5 others, including Keo, nothing struck me as interesting, but my quest was for their brewed beers. So, I asked again, but said for what they brew onsite. After a couple of explanations as she didn't seem to know it was a microbrewery. Her response is just the onsite brewed beer, apparently it's unnamed. I couldn't understand what she could mean, after a few back and forth, I realized they only had one beer. I asked what it was, she said just a beer and was clearly uninformed and uninterested. I started naming examples - Lager, IPA, pilsner... she cut me off and said yes. I don't know what she was saying yes to but it was clear she didn't grasp my question, so I just said I'd take one. The service was slow to our table and the only other one next to us, which was annoying beyond the simple beer ignorance.
The beer was very disappointing, tasted and looked like a macro similar to Bud Light.
The food was much worse. We paid more for this meal than many other places in Cyprus and that was just for Burgers, but they sounded really good - Homemade USDA (they had another option with pork and beef, but with the horse meat issue in Europe at the moment, we went with the usda for 2 extra euro). I got a burger with bacon and cheese. The bacon looked and tasted as if it was boiled. The burger wasn't any better, we didn't finish our meals and the kids meal was lousy for my son.
I would advise everyone to avoid this place, there was a little cafe across the walkway that had a huge crowd of locals, which we didn't try, but after going here, certainly wish we had.

Nice looking interior although cheap vintage beer posters and the very strong mouldy (not yeasty or hoppy) smell of the premises kind of ruins that also.
The service was awful, we were 6 clients only and the 4 or five front staff members didn't bother to check upon our requests that often. A manager should be hired in that place, seriously!
Good food selection and the food was good. Especially the salads were really good! Big thumbs up for the kitchen.
As far as beer, well I traveled all across the island to taste their beer and there was not any!!! The staff told me that they have brewed a couple of times when they first installed their brewing system (presumably the initial test batches from the installation brewer) and after that they stopped brewing! So at the moment it is a beer place for me. Not a brew pub.

The first brewpub in Lemeso (LImassol). This place could have been one of the best brewpubs in Europe BUT the people that go there and the atmosphere that is created ruin this place. People go there with their suits and very nicely dressed. The beer it brews though is excellent. Draught brews wheat, ale and lager beer. There is a great selection of food and it's very tasty as well. Great beer great food, horrible atmosphere. It's a shame. This place could have been HEAVEN....
