Dank and resinous aroma. Similar on the palate: herbal and bright, with a huge grapefruit bite that waits until the back half to introduce itself. Bitter rind-like finish. Additional notes of peach pits, pear, and parsley.
True murk bomb in appearance only, as this carries a reasonable amount of bitterness, and the sip is clean and lively - a touch watery, actually, for the ABV.
Very enjoyable imperial NE IPA.

After moving to Honolulu, I do have to say the big Hop Bomb beers aren't really cutting it for me. IBU stands at the 50s and is an easy citrusy with a slight piney IPA. I would put this beer as one of the brews at the forefront of changing the palette of local people.

I'm a big fan of this one. Easily the best IPA to come out of Hawai'i, in my opinion. It's got that juicy, slight citrus/hoppy bitterness to it, that I really like. The smell is very tropical/juicy as well. Very impressed with what Beer Lab HI is doing.
