Pours a very pale yellow with cloudy haze throughout. Head is a bit thin and has sunk, but a ring of large bubbles remains. A simple swish of the glass brings back a nice white crown of foam. Lacing is thin and OK. Looks fairly decent.

Quite malty with waffly dry malt fragrance and a slightly sweet aroma. Has hints of a floral hop on the back, in fact it has quite a floral smell in general, almost like nectar. Interesting nose, almost rice lager-esque in its malt but with an odd and pleasant twist to it.

Tastes rather lagery with a distinct pale malt flavour, hints of dry grass and an almost umami flavour on the mid and back palate. Slight tartness given by the flavour and helped by zingy mouthfeel, quite nice. Decent drop, not as complex as other beers and it does leave a bit of an acidic aftertaste, but otherwise fairly good drinkin'

Pale wheat-gold colour with a filmy head. Body is slightly hazy. Lacing is good, but it lacks some weight. Not bad though, overall.

Light, sweet nose. A bit of musty organics, we burlap, grain grist. It has something very prototypically German about it. Not huge, but pleasant.

Pleasant organic musty flavour on the palate too. Not an awful lot, just a bit of crusty bread and grain husk. Hint of raw bitterness on the back. Mouthfeel is quite crisp with a lingering effervescence. Again, it's not huge, but pleasant in a rustic kind of way.

Quite a drinkable drop with refreshing, if not huge, characters. From the Zwickels I've had, it seems a reasonably stylistic, but not a huge or prominent examplar.
