This beer was brewed with all of our favorite things about summer in mind; warm weather, fruity and fresh flavors, and crisp, cold beverages. The Salted Cherry Sour is our own take on a gose and our first (of hopefully many) sour brews. The slight saltiness combined with the sweetness from tart cherries helps make this 4.2% ABV sour very sessionable.

Had on tap at the brewery. Very red with a white head that fades quickly. Smells like it will be sour and you get cherry in the smell. Cherry is evident in the flavor, this beer is also salted and it all works together very well.

Pours an effervescent pinky orange with rapidly falling beige head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Cherries, tart lemon
T: Follows the nose, along with salt & dryness up front. Lime salt, salt & tartness as this warms, some sour cherry notes as well. Finishes dry, salty & tart with lime & just a little cherry
MF: Medium body with slight carbonation
Respectable take on the style, but certainly not one I would buy again
