Sampling a 12 oz can at cellar temp and pouring into my snifter. The beer is date stamped best by 7/14/2024.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with several fizzy streams of carbonation rising to the surface. A very minimal bleached white head foams up and fades to a wispy surface island and a very thin edge layering.
Aroma on this beer is a bit of grainy malt and some sugary sweetness with hints of green apple and pear too. Not really boozy and the label tells me cascade hops, and I get maybe a little rindy citrus. But it is buried on the nose.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with very fine and gently rolling carbonation. Texture is a little on the thin side.
I find the flavor to be fairly sweet up front with pears and candi sugar and a good bit of floral honey. No citrusy notes here. I also get a bit of a yeasty bread note and very mild black pepper booze note.
Finish is dry and there is a bit of lingering booze bite after the swallow.
This is a fairly fruity and sweet tripel with a decent booze bite but not heat on the finish boozy.
Glad to have tried this one.

Pours an effervescent gold with a pinky of beige head. Some head retention & lacing

S: Perfumy hops, pears, Golden Delicious Appels

T: Dry, loads of pears, white grape, grassy hops & a treacle sweetness up front. Grassy & floral hops, pears, dryness & more apple as this beer warms up. Finishes sweet, dry with white pepper & orchard fruit & some yeasty phenols showing up late to the party

MF: Medium body, delicate carbonation, skews a little sweet

On point for the style, pretty good flavor & drinkability
