A dry-hopped, light-bodied American Pale Ale. A light malt body with a citrusy hop character leads to a dry hoppy finish.

Swing State | Sibling Revelry Brewing. Poured from the can into a pint glass, the brew in question gives us a two finger thick off-white head, solid lacing, and a deep gold body.

Smells like nice and fresh hops.

I'm also tasting that freshness, with the malts also being bright and lively. Very clean and refreshing finish.

Medium mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

Swing State | Sibling Revelry Brewing gets an overall 4.25 out of me.

Pours a deep darkish yellow with a small white head that fades quickly. The smell is mostly floral earthy hops with some hints of malt. The flavor is interesting, the hops are more subdued than I expected, but they are still potent and layered in the beer. The flavor starts grainy and hoppy, and moves into the hops, finishing with some malt. The aftertaste is hoppy with a good amount of hop bitterness, a some citrus/grapefruit that lingers on the tongue. The way that the flavor changes throughout the sip is nice. There are a few other floral flavors that I can't pinpoint, but add a welcome complexity to the flavor. I don't think these were off flavors. The mouthfeel is smooth, but the bitterness definitely adds some harshness to the palate. Overall a nice beer, different from the norm, and one that has some uniqueness. Worth checking out.

Swing State brewed by Sibling Revelry Brewing, with an ABV 4.50% This American Pale Ale pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. There is a nice golden amber color to this brew with a nice thick white head. Lots of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with hoppy bitterness, mixed with earthy grains and malts. So far this is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with lots of Hop bitterness. You also pick up on some nice earthy grains and malts in the taste as well. If you are not a fan of the hops this is not the brew for you. The body of Swing State is a solid medium. This American Pale Ale has a nice balance to it, if you like hops. The hops make this brew full of flavors, can says it is a dry hopped brew. With the lower ABV, I wasn't expecting all the flavor, but it is there. This brew would go great with dinner. The mouth feel is Hoppy, Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Swing State a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to.Sibling Revelry Brewing, did a real nice job with with American Pale Ale.

Pours cold with 2 fingers of ivory colored head. Alright head retention & lacing

S: Bready,
,
T: Follows the nose, plus dryness up front, lemons & grainyness. More of the same as this warms. Finishes a little dry & grainy

Light body, firm carbonation, okay balance

Alight take on the style, was expecting more

Shimmering brass with a thick white foam.

Smell is not very forward, but does bring orange, grapefruit, and catty rug.

Crisp and semi-bitter, flavors of biscuit and cracker are enveloped by moderate pine, grapefruit and floral perfume via a moderate body with milky carbonation finishing semi-dry.

12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent session American pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and never watery feeling for the low ABV. Very vibrant and dank Columbus/Mosaic hop character; nice malt backbone for the low ABV. The Vienna malt is well represented. A really enjoyable offering, and awesome style example.
