This one is a little different. Instead of bitter or malty, light or roasty, our Spring Wit takes the unique flavors of a wheat body and tart, spiciness of Belgian Wit yeast and accents it with lavender, coriander and orange peel.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte,NC whom got it from a beer of the month club pack. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with fizzy white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had floral lavender and lemon notes. The taste was tart leaning with bitter citrus base and floral lavender highlights.....some soapiness flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/6/2018., Pours fairly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, coriander, lavender, rosemary, mint, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, coriander, lavender, rosemary, mint, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate Light-moderate herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, coriander, lavender, rosemary, mint, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very nice witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Well balanced spices, yeast, and pale/wheat malts. The lavender is definitely very well represented, but not too overpowering. A very enjoyable, unique, and well made style example.

Pale milky gold with a spotty white blanket, this smells soapy of orange and lavender, and tastes of lemon, wheat, yeast, and soap. Just weird, and a little chalky. I knew it was going to be a bad choice when the lady ordered it. Rarely if ever is lavender a good idea in a frothy beverage.
