Poured out of a 12 oz can into my snifter glass, this beer pours a very dark brown, almost black color with a tan head that's about 2/3 of an inch thick when first poured. Head eventually settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass with just a bit of lacing and a nice cluster swirl of film layer of foam on the beer's surface. Aromas of roasted malts along with cocoa, milk sugar, and oats are all nicely present. Also a decent earthy, just slightly piney, hop aromas too. The taste really follows suit to the aroma, with roasted malt flavors with cocoa, milk sugar, and oats that all have a nice sweetness that's followed by the aforementioned earthy and slightly piney hop bitterness that adds a nice balance. Also just a bit of roasted, black coffee bitterness. Has a crisp, also quite smooth and frothy, slightly oily, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Has The milk sugars and cocoa really come through as the beer sits and warms a bit and sits nicely on my palate in teh after taste of each sip. A very nice beer here all around.

I bought a 4pck of this from the beer store just around the corner. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan head that did not leave much lace. The scent had chocolate and hint of bourbon. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate earth and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This mighty fine ale pours a rich and dark
blackish brown with a fantastic head of dissipating brown foam that subsides to
a thick ring, subtle light pool, and displays some very nice sudsy lacing. Nose of
dark chocolate, char, dark malts, and hints of dark fruit and coffee. Flavors follow
the nose with light exception. Dark chocolate and moderately strong cocoa and
dark coffee intermingle with brulee and char with hints of marshmallow and
vanilla among some dark fruit notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, medium
light carbonation that is lively, and a bitter malt finish with a touch of cream with
warmth.
A full frontal stout assault that is pretty straight forward but well done!
Cheers

Canned on 10/23/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with a dark khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward with a nice amount of smoke along with some cocoa. Mild hints of vanilla. The flavors have a nice amount of dark chocolate leading the way. Lots of roasted characteristics. Some coffee in the mix. Decent bitterness. The lactose and milk sugars are subtle and don't dominate. It really doesn't come off as sweet. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
This is a solid stout. It's more or less a straight forward and traditional example of the style, which isn't a bad thing. Nice dark chocolate flavors. It might not be flashy, but it's nice. Everything opens up as it slightly warms. Not bad at all.

Looked great. Dark, thick almost like oil. The head was nice. Smell was a little bland but kind of what I expect for the style. Flavors were really good. When I first heard about this I was expecting an overly chocolaty beer. This actually was well balanced and a nice surprise.
Overall, best beer I have ever had from Sibling.
