A Red Ale conditioned with freshly roasted whole bean coffee from Cleveland's own duck-rabbit Coffee Roasters. The aroma of iced coffee and caramel follows with a lightly roasted body and a sweetened coffee finish.

Canned December 10th 2020.
Pours red, close enough to be called clear, small head of foam with decent lacing.
Big coffee nose with a good roast going on. Not hoppy or malty sweet..
Coffee is in the name and coffee is dominant in the taste. Good roasty flavours back it up. Ever so slight sweet note in the background. I notice some smokey qualities throughout.
Above average mouthfeel.
A good one.

L: Reddish/amber. No head. Little lace
S: Stronger coffee and a slight chocolate remainder
M: Slight bitter, very dry wash.
T: To me, a red always has a flavor that reminds me of how rope smells. This is no different but the coffee masks that flavor a bit and some sweetness as well. Also a bit of caramel like Cracker Jack.
O: There is a hole in this beer rather than being full bodied. The odd combo of flavors just put me off.

Pours a light brown color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel and coffee. Only a slight taste of coffee, mostly malts and caramel. Slightly bitter finish.

come on people, just because this isnt some barrel aged adjunct stout or blended wild ale, doesnt mean it cant be highly rated on quality, because this is about as good a beer as i have had or can imagine in this style, its thoughtful and flawlessly executed, and it deserves much higher ratings here. its a deep copper tone, with a reddish amber glow, some visible density for its low abv, and a rich frothy burlap colored head with great rise and retention. it smells like fresh brewed espresso, crema and all, with the oils of the coffee right up front, and a lot more character than just bitter roast and generic java, i get hints of raisin and cocoa, light smoke and cherry, as well as chocolate and fig, its complex on its own, but combined with the malt there are rich toffee and even molasses notes, along with a baked dark bread and brown sugar character, so much happening, but when i taste it, its cohesive as can be, with all of the depth of the nose present on the palate. the coffee is first and last, but the base red is awesome too, so much better than a blonde or wheat or whatever pale beers are getting coffee additions these days, this is old school, big feeling, and fully malty, not shy at all, but super well refined, i cant believe the abv is as low as it is. creamy feeling, expansive, fuller and wintery, with the right amount of sweetness at the end carrying the coffee, which is complex and delicious all the way through. an incredible little can of beer, really i couldnt get enough. i wont soon forget this little undiscovered treasure!

From the 12 oz can and enjoyed in a snifter. This fine red ale pours
a light red tinged brown color with a nice head of white foam that
subsides to a thick ring, thin wispy pool, and displays some nice light
sudsy lacing. Nose of rich coffee mingling with biscuit and toffee with
light notes of herbal hops and moderate touches of black pepper.
Flavors exceed the nose with aplomb. Black pepper and caramel
malts intermingle with biscuit and low acid cold pressed coffee
with touches of herbal hops that are lightly zesty bringing balance
to this brew. Very nice mouth feel; medium body, medium light
carbonation that is effervescent and sessionable, and a lightly
dry coffee laden finish.
An excellent brew from a brewery that I am liking more and
more with the passage of time.
Cheers

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/19/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky light khaki head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big nutty medium roast coffee, citrus zest, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of dark fruit, cocoa, vanilla, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of coffee, dark/bready malt, and light citrusy/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty medium roast coffee, citrus zest, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of dark fruit, cocoa, vanilla, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of medium roast coffee, citrus zest, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light cocoa/vanilla, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of coffee, dark/bready malt, and light citrusy/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/coffee bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an excellent amber ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of coffee, dark/bready malt, and light citrusy/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the very mildly bitter finish. Great balance of rich dark/bready malts and fruity/nutty coffee complexity; with mild citrus/earthy hop balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

This looks more like West Coast IPA, with a shimmering amber hue and a creamy, khaki bubbly collar.
Smell is chocolatey medium roast coffee with toasty brown malt, while the semi-sweet taste is similar, adding an earthiness with a bit of a grassy swallow.
The medium round body has a light but filling froth, again finishing semi-wet.
