Canned on 7/23/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellowish golden; fluffy and creamy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. It looks like your typical New England IPA. The aromas have a nice blend of citrus and tropical fruit. Some crackers and fresh bread. Malts are there. The flavors are nice. Lots of fruit, but the hop flavors don't back down. Nice bitterness for the style. Lots of pineapple leading the way. Some orange and lemon coming through. Subtle hints of coconut in the mix. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slick, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a really nice New England IPA. It's better than alot of the other examples of the style. It might not be "mind blowing", but it's really nice for the style. The craftsmanship is on point. They did a nice job with this one. Well done. I really like it.
