Collaboration with Channing Frye. A portion of the proceeds go to Cleveland Family Meal and Family Meal PDX.
Canned on 6/15/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a burnt golden with solid clarity; creamy off-white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have orange and citrus leading the way along with some coconut. A little tropical vibe going on as well. Some crackers and fresh bread. Subtle hints of caramel. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose. More orange leading the way. More hints of coconut. Subtle hints of vanilla cream. More crackers and bread. Some grains. Moderate to low bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of light-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a pretty solid "orange IPA". It drinks like a "real beer" and not a fruity mess. It's refreshing and enjoyable. It's nice for what it is. I like it.
