Having this beer on tap. Served in a Weizen Glass, this beer draws a mainly clear, slightly cloudy/hazy medium amber/copper color with a nice white head that’s about 2/3 Inch thick when first drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a Thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a nice cluster swirl of film layer surface foam along with bits of lacing on the inside of the glass. Aromas of some bready, biscuity, slightly toasted malt with some Caramel sweetness and a bit of some yeasty esters Along with some dark fruit notes of raisin and plum. The taste is pretty much the same, with Some bready, Biscuity, slightly toasted caramel malt sweetness and a bit of some yeasty esters Along with some dark fruit notes of raisin and plum. No discernible hop presence here, and that is perfectly acceptable for this style. Has a crisp, also smooth, slightly prickly, slightly frothy, medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and just slightly dry aftertaste. Not a bad a beer at all.
