Pint at Westside Taphouse in West Salem OR.
$5.. Happy Hour.
Hazy apricot flesh coloured body. Small but dense white head.
Intense hop aromas..but not the expected fruit explosion..there is some nice pine and dank in there too.
Taste similar a mix of tropical and PNW.
Good medium mouth feel. Very smooth.
Nice hybrid IPA.

Hazy dark amber brew with a big pile of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Sudsy mouthfeel is very inviting. Quite aromatic with touches of orange, pineapple, and honeysuckle. Flavor of ripe, sweet casaba melon with a fruit cocktail finish. There's a murkier aftertaste but barely any bitterness.
Some of the lingering hop stew taste but it's really a pretty good example of the "New England" haze. For me it's one to sip on, but the fruity intensity makes it rewarding, just different from an IPA with the usual clean taste and bitter edge. From the 16 oz can purchased at Market of Choice in Eugene.

this was just a bit dated when we got into it, my first beer from these guys, and there was really nothing about it to set it apart from the million others like it out there right now, which is not to say it wasnt a nice ipa, but just that it kind of falls into the generic category for my palate now, although i will revisit again when i can guarantee greater freshness. it pours a little darker than a lot of these, a light copper hue to it, hazy, airy white head atop, simple looking, not overly dense, but not super well refined either. it smells like its mostly dry hops happening here, maybe some mosaic, a grapefruity thing makes me think simcoe too, but they taste like they are a bit tired now, and the bitterness has come up as with the malt in the flavor, and this seems like we missed its prime. i dont mind the malt flavor in here, so many now are just about body and haze, but this has a little barley flavor to it along with what appears to be some wheat malt too, good structure to this, pretty full but also on the dry side, nice carbonation too, it feels fluffy and bright, i just wish the hop complexion matched. the bitterness lingers with some hop oils a bit long, and as it warms up it looses some of the drinkability that was there when we first poured it. overall a fine beer, one i need to find at its peak of freshness, but not one that really impressed me a whole lot, good but nothing real different or special going on...

16 oz can into IPA glass. No date.
Look is nice golden orange haze. Smell is a medium tropical fruit. Clean tropical fruit and little malty ending. Feel is light to medium. Overall nice IPA clean taste. Read reviews that said it compares to major NE IPAs. not sure about that. But a very good IPA that I would drink again.
