Look: Clear brown/deep ruby red with an off-white head that forms and immediately dissipates leaving no lacing behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, a little toffee, earthy hops in the background, and some malt sweetness
Taste: Big bready and toffee notes take over the palate and hold ground, followed by the earthiness of the hops. Extremely clean throughout and nicely, but surprisingly crisp for so much maltiness initially. Slight dryness on the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium-high carbonation, clean but plenty of body still and very crisp on the finish. Goes down super easy
Overall: I dig it. This is a hard-to-find style and having had all good experiences with these folks so far, it was easy to snag this when I saw it. Big, malty body but clean feel and crispness set this apart from a brown ale. Tasty and refreshing and I would definitely buy or order this again. Tasty stuff here
