This one smells like spicy hops. It smells clean and sweet.
It blasts you in the face with bitterness, that's followed by hops, fruity hops. A little malt at the end.
It's thin bodied. It's bubbly and smooth. The bitterness lingers for a very long finish. It has a final aftertaste of strong malts and a last hint of hops.
Overall it's really good. The spicy bitterness makes it a great winter lager. I give it a 5.2 out of 6.

16oz can
Pours two fingers of white head into a curved pub glass. Fizzy at first, but it settles down and has some decent retention. Initial lacing doesn’t look too promising, but this glass may have some residue. Body is a brownish orange, slightly odd, and not that inviting for the style, was expecting an amber color. Other than the color it looks pretty good.
Nose however, is wonderful. Big pine needles and stone fruit collide right off the bat, notably strawberry. Malty, a little bready, some sweetness. Really inviting, seems really well balanced, smells delicious.
Whoa. Flavor starts a little tame for a second, but the second act of this is wonderful. That fruit hits you all of a sudden, some stone, more notably peaches. This is simultaneously accompanied by a floral, nearly perfume characteristic. Some pine hitting at the beginning, and way in the finish. Flavors are spread out well here, so you can easily pick up everything. This is magnificent.
Carbonation is about medium, maybe a hair below. Body is pretty normal, slightly on the lighter side I suppose. Definitely not a sweet beer, but a touch of sweetness. Additionally, some of these flavors trick your palate into thinking it’s sweeter than it is, this all makes for a balanced beer. A delayed but relatively moderate bitterness adds to that balance as it shows up in the finish. Very nice mouthfeel.
Drinkabiltiy is no issue, this is balanced and tasty as all hell.
Appearance actually turned out pretty good. The head eventually dissipated, but the lacing was cohesive all the way down.
The only imperfection would be that the flavor takes a nano second to kick in. Overall this is an absolutely fantastic beer.
