Look: A beautiful clear copper with a frothy off-white head that balloons up and slowly settles to a pillow, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, floral hops, raw dough, pilsner malt, and a light honey-like sweetness as well
Taste: Rich malty bread dough, warm bread, and lightly toasted grains dominate up front as floral hop notes slowly filter in amongst the malt. The malt continues to shine and exhibit depth and closes with light sweetness and more malty goodness
Mouthfeel: Full, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a smooth and soft finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. These folks have always impressed me and seem to fly under the radar somewhat, so when I saw one of my favorite styles was brewed by them, it was an easy purchase. A really well-made Helles Bock with lots of rich malty depth and enough floral hops to keep it from being sweet. My only problem is that I only bought a single as this is really good and I already want more. Easily would buy/drink again and definitely can recommend
