Our Kölsch beer was created with all German malts and hops. The subtle aroma has notes of baking bread and pear. The flavor is slightly grainy, with a touch of honey-like sweetness and has a hint of citrus and herbs. The soft malt finish is simultaneously delicate and refreshing. This beer was brewed to celebrate the storied tradition of beer and community. Prost!

I have always favored the style, so on a 90 degree day in Eugene following a run, this was the pick du jour.
The look was pale and slightly hazy just as expected. The smell was yeasty with a touch of lemon: again no surprises. The taste carried citrus notes, zesty carbonation and hints of fresh bread. The finish was pleasantly bitter with a refreshing grainy texture that left me eager for the next mouthful.
