Copenhagen 9/6 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Relaxed monkey king languishing on his throne on the can. Pours murky golden yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Disappears almost immediately leaving a thick orange juice behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong candy-like sweet scent mingling with lighter tart, sour odor. Hard, sweet candy with artificial strawberry and white sugar. Light lemon and tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sourish with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A rather strange beer. Like a Mexican layer cake battling with a lemon pie.
