Copenhagen 13/4 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like a hastily executed eating in red, green, yellow and black on the can.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark, roasted sweet odor of malts mingling with more subdued citric notes. Dark roasted malts, hints of honey, chocolate. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet mellowing undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the sweet side but certainly enjoyable.
