Copenhagen 10/4 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Maelstrom of black lines on a blue and orange background.
Pours opaque, murky, dirty yellow with a small white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, perfumed, fermented odor of tropical fruit mingling with sharp, citric scents. Mango, peach and papaya. Citrus and grapefruit. Acerbic notes. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a lighter citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a boozy touch.
Well balanced powerful DIPA.
