Copenhagen 4/3 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Abstract paint splatterings on the can in green and red. Pretty wet-looking
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as paper-thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor mingling with more subtle citric notes. Sweet mango and passion fruit. Hints of fermented decay. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable boozy touch. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a streak of alcohol.
Potent and very much on the sweet side with a quite strong presence of alcohol despite a modest ABV for the style.
