Copenhagen 23/1 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Maelstrom of black lines on a yellow and red background.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a small white head. Kind of bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with more citric scents. Mango, pineapple and peach. Whiff of fermented fruit. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while.
Civilized IPA with a slightly sweet tooth.
