Frederiksberg 21/1 2026. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is dark and sweet with a distinct perfumed scent of pine needles. Dark roasted malts, toffee and a touch of brown sugar. Spruce and pine. Mint. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit viscous, sof, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Strangely perfumed brew.
