Copenhagen 1/2 2026. 50 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Black and white simply stating the name and style of the beer and the name of the brewery.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with an odor of hard roasted dark malts mingling with grains and alcohol. Dark roasted malts. A bit burnt. Brown sugar and toffee. Hint of caramel,Dark alcohol. Whiff of sour grains
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light mellowing sweet undertone. Limngers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Might be their straight forward take on a Baltci Porter. But an immensely solid take.
