A bold, uncompromising beer, packed with hops at 4 different stages in the brewing process. Imperial and Munich malts give the beer enough body to try and tame the hop aromas jumping out of the glass. ‘Treason’ is a favourite with beer lovers, writers and judges and has won an amazing 8 gold medals in national and international competitions.

Amazing aroma and unbelievably alive fruity bitterness. Proper West Coast style IPA from England with unique citrussy passion fruity fruity freshness and bitterness that perfectly complements. So fresh from a bottle it almost seems like draft.

Definitely buying some more of these, best beer I have had for ages.

Bottle-conditioned.
L- Mid orange/brown, very slightly hazy, pours with some minor off-white foam scattered on the surface.
S- A sense or dryness and tropical fruits, I don't detect anything really typically beer-like.
T- Phoo... extremely hoppy/dry and right into a blend of fruits, lychee and Mandarin orange...? Then dry hops return again with a perfumed note into the finish. There is a sweetness but it's quite artificial, there's no sense of the 'warm richness' of malts. - I checked the lable to confirm it's not in fact an Adjunct and to be clear it's not.
F- Very dry, yet curiously it isn't that refreshing as the fruity notes from the hops are so pungent they taste almost artificial to me.
O- To summarise - extremely dry, tropical fruits, perfumed, flavour outstays it's welcome on the palate. This bottle was given to me, I shan't be buying any.
330ml bottle BB: 01/12/2020. Bought in Windsor/UK

330 ml can, at The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. 5.8% ABV, 50 IBU. Orange colour, white head. Aroma of piney American hops. Flavour mid between dry and sweet, piney hops again. Bitter aftertaste.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2018. ABV is stated as 6%. Purchased recently from Waitrose. Uprising's stab at a West Coast IPA - brewed at the Windsor & Eton brewery.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. Bottle conditioned. A rich, hazy orange-amber hue with fine sediment and good carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a persistent surface layer. Nice lacing.

S: Aroma of intense fruity hops with hints of grapefruit, citrus, peel, melon, tropical fruit, a touch of resin, sweet malt and subtle earthy yeast. Very nice.

T: Tastes of overwhelmingly aromatic hops with notes of grapefruit, citrus, peel, tropical fruit, mild melon, a hint of pine resin, subtle weed, caramel malt, barley sugar and earthy yeast. A strident hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with spritzy carbonation and some hop oil action on the palate. Nice body, with an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus, caramel and earthy yeast.

O: Awesome beer - this is what an American IPA should taste like. Looks fantastic, while the aroma and flavour showcase an avalanche of hops underpinned by malt and yeast. Good body. Superb; if you need a hop fix get your sticky mitts on one of these beauties....

Perhaps the most solid U.K. Attempt at American style IPA. Really refreshing look, smell and taste. Could easily stick with this one all night. The hops really seep through with a citrus finish that leaves you satisfied but yet eager for more.
