L- Hazy mid amber. Minor patch of foam on top that is cleared by the time I write this.
S- Rather fruity, perhaps grapefruit, but unusually tomatoes also repeatedly comes to mind.
T- Quite fruity but swiftly into a sour and increasingly bitter hoppy finish that lingers long on the palate, there's also something rather articially perfumey that occasionally pops up.
F- There seems to be no noticable carbonation in the mouth (as well as the glass).
O- It doesn't really convey like beer in the 'traditional' sense, beyond having material contemporary hopping. Carbonation is or might as well be absent, and beyond hops other beer-like character are hard to discern.
I'm uncomfortable reaching such a negative sounding conclusion on a beer, I wish it wasn't so, I wished it worked better for me. I suspect this might better suit younger folks who get and go for contemporary NEIPA hopping. Shame as I bought it this week from Waitrose in London for just £1.10/330ml bottle which could have been something of a deal.

The lable is pretty confusing too, it includes:
'Uprising Craft Brewing, Tri-Continental NEIPA, Darling Brew Slowbeer, Sunset Brew' and that it's brewed at that it's brewed at the Windsor + Eton Brewery in Berkshire. Ohhhh.... ingredients include mango puree and essence, and wheat.
And apparently marula is a fruit...
