Pours a cloudy, deep orange-gold color with a 2 finger dense bone-white head.
The aroma has distinctive non-citrus notes to it. I pick up peach and caramel and some dankness but not overly sweet.
Yup, definitely some caramel flavor to it but well hidden in the background. There is a big nectarine wave that pushes its way to the front along with some dankness and a strong bitterness that throws off the sweetness. This is a bit more bitter than most other NEIPAs out there so be warned. Malt is very much out and away so you really just get hops, bitterness and a soft mouthfeel. Some might call this a little hollow feeling but the creamy feel brings back a little depth to it.
Not bad in terms of the onesie series. It brings a different hop flavor than what's typically found around here. I find the bitterness is too much and the dankness picks up as it ages in the glass to the point that it gets to be aggressive.
