Bursting with tropical flavor from late additions of Mosaic and Enigma, this pale ale is crisp, balanced, and fruity.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale golden, hazy, one finger fluffy head. Aroma is grassy with light tropical notes. Tropical faint in the taste too, but a nice old school bitterness takes over, drying out near the finish.

groovy pale ale here, mosaic and enigma, selected by my wife, these guys have been great so far, ive liked most that i have tried, and this is definitely a continuation of that, their hoppy stuff has been both high quality and unique, and while we didnt necessarily catch this at the peak of freshness, there is some oxidation just starting in, no date on the can, it still is delicious, and quite different than what else is out there in this hazy pale world. i love the low alcohol and light body, its not as sedimented and starchy as so many, especially actually being from the east coast, just unfiltered. high headed and real fizzy from the can, their branding is pretty unique. the aroma here is a little tired but is complex too, some spiciness from the hops, dried pineapple from the mosaic, a tangerine note, and something almost english from the yeast which is cool, adds some neat complexity, and its got some mango sweetness as well despite being minimally malty, nice mix of smells here. the flavor sags even a tad bit more than the nose with the oxidation, but the hop profile is still great, some grassiness through most of it, even a little bitterness there too, but also notes of papaya and mango and maybe peach, slightly concentrated, with the more obvious mosaic elements all at the end. relatively dry cereal malt base is not intrusive, and that part still seems fresh. the yeast part is cool too, this is close to dry but has a distinctive fermentation character, almost like a burton yeast or something, it works great with these hops. high minerality, brisk carbonation, pretty fast finishing, and overall a delightful modern pale ale. wish it was a bit fresher and that we were crushing these during high summer on a boat somewhere, but it creates that vibe and we definitely dug it. i will keep buying the lone pine stuff, its been fun to drink through so far. not sure how they ended up all the way out in idaho, but this is relevant beer here for sure. good pick by the wife!

Pours slightly hazy, gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is mango, pineapple and floral hops. Light bodied, high carbonation, slightly bitter. Makes for a good pale ale to sit with. I prefer other beers from the brewery but good.

Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a 2 finger tan head. Smell is sweet and tropical with pineapple notes. Flavor is more subtle with dry citrus notes dominant and very little tropical flavor. Odd. Feel is a little soft and very seltzery. Light bitterness in the finish.
This is a pretty good Pale with full flavor, nothing off, very fresh and refreshing. Well done.
