Draft at the brewery
Light foamy dark head, light retention but some lacing, good legs, inky black color
Nose brings sweet bourbon and caramel, big fresh bourbon barrel, vanilla, toasted oak, fudgey dark choc, little nutty
Taste rich dark chocolate, caramel, butt tons of bourbon, fresh barrel flavors, rich sweet bourbon, vanilla icing, toasted oak, light smooth alcohol, getting a little perfumey, cocoa late, and light charred malt, med light bitterness, drier finish, touch more alcohol, big bourbon lingering
Mouth is fuller bod, rich thick almost inky, some warming tingly booze, lighter carb
Overall very good, great bourbon barrel characters, beer held up well

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice dark black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wisps.
S - Big aromas of sticky sweet toffee and caramel sauce. Enormous bourbon notes, angel share level craziness. Flashes of chocolate chip cookie dough as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice slightly sweet caramel sauce and toffee. Gets really sweet vanilla caramel bourbon butter. Nice chocolate and thick fudge ribbons. The bourbon on the finish is sweet and sticky. Alcohol is hidden nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, flashes of booze heat.
O - Overall this was a very solid imperial stout with excellent barrel notes and bourbon. The bourbon caramel going on is incredible. Excellent.
