Dry American Imperial Stout Aged on Madagascar Vanilla Beans!
This new member of the CHAGA STOUT family is the same stout you love, with an added complexity after being rested on Madagascar Vanilla Beans. This addition of vanilla produces a new layer of aroma and character that compliments and rounds the already heaping dose of Chaga. One of our favorite stouts to date. Possessing the same mild sweetness and flavor of roasted malt, coffee, and subtle chocolate, VANILLA CHAGA STOUT also carries with it the delicious flavor of vanilla bean ice cream.

Look: nice and black with a tan head that mostly fades away after a while.
Smell: The vanilla bean is very noticeable with maybe a hint kf earthiness from the chaga. Also a bit of bitter chocolate.
Taste: vanilla influence, bitter chocolate like the smell (but much more noticeable in the flavor) the chaga is mostly present in the aftertase. Maybe a little bit to bitter overall.
Feel: quite astringent with at least a medium level body.
Overall: the flavor could be more balanced but it is an interesting stout.
