2x the dry hop, 2x the flavor, and 2x the slamming OH-J punch you’ve come to love. An irresponsible amount of dry hopping has ensured that DDH OH-J is our most hop-saturated beer to date. Citra, Mosaic, and Vic Secret.

Its nice looking pale shade of gold.
The nose is dank and airy, twinge of pine, with a sweet hint of a of strawberries and cream
Taste follows the nose but a bit on the malty side, a noticeable bitterness, lemony, resiny, complex
Very strongly hopped, dry-mouth, finishes without a trace.

A: Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves decent lacing
S: Lots of citrus up front along with some lighter tropical fruit and earthy tones
S: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and then slowly picks up some tropical fruit and lighter herbal undertones. Light bitterness. Finishes with lingering citrus
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A great version of Oh-J that definitely ramps up the hop intensity. On the easier side to drink. Worth checking out

Pours cloudy gold. Thick white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, somewhat resinous with candied orange, marmalade and a little bit of that spicy hop attribute.. Some fresh, grassy green notes as well. The aroma is not as “Oh-J” as the original - which was very much like orange juice. Flavor is a blend of citrus and tropical fruits and a little dankness as well- likely a result from the DDH. Feel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall a good DIPA, but I do enjoy the original more.

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a near murky golden body with sticky lacing. Nose of citrus (orange, tangerine, ruby red grapefruit) and a tropical floral thing going on as well. Taste of aforementioned citrus, a little tropical fruit, and a bit of candied orange; finishing with slight citrus pith. Nice feel and overall, quite tasty and will definitely have again.
Cheers!

Can review from 1/12/21. Opened and reviewed on 2/22/21
Thick. Haze. Golden. Cream. Whipped foam cap. Huge lace.
Smells: unbelievably aromatic, with bold creamy, vanilla golden grains. Major Dish style earthy hops, freshly crusher up hop cones, lupulin powder and husky hop residue. Citrus, like oranges soaked up vodka.
Long, smooth, bitter, full, creamy, boozy bite. Feels.
Dense hop come complexity that mirror's the aroma but is even more intense flavor wise. Maybe too thick and chunky, but when I burp, it's like fresh hops exploding out of my face.
'Nuff said. !!

Can. I remember thinking the regular Oh-J was pretty good. Let's see what the DDH has in store. Very hazy. Pretty much opaque. Thin head. Nose jumps out of the glass. Citrus hops and other sweet fruits squeeze into my pint glass. On point for the branding in both appearance and aroma. Flavor is dense, damp, ripe, juicy, wet fruit hops. Maybe not super reminiscent of orange juice but it doesn't really need to be. Creamy feeling and tasting but not too creamy. Has a nice burst of bitterness to cut through that dairy-like richness. I think I like this better than the original.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a hazy yellow orange with solid finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma tangerine, pineapple, papaya, apricot, and little grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste follows tangerine stands out most, pineapple, papaya, apricot, and pink grapefruit really help out. 4.5
Mouthfeel is above average, maybe a little sticky but not dry, and at 8.1% loaded with flavor but very easy drinking. 4.75
Overall what it about that DDH that makes a good beer, great??? This ruins regular OJ for me. Excellent stuff. 4.5
