On draught at the Roadhouse Pub.
An amber pour with a thin off white head and intricate lacing all the way to the bottom.
Malty on the nose and palate, caramel flavor, balanced and tasty bitterness. Light/medium bodied mouthfeel. A little light on the carbonation.

Pours almost clear with a reddish-amber body. Two inches of almond froth gradually settles to a thick blanket. Fine carbonation races upwards while spotty lace decorates a Harp nonic.
The aroma is mildly sweet, with malt and an unpleasant soapiness.
The flavor is somewhat bitter. Malt out performs the hops which are light at best. Warmth brings out wheat bread and caramel. The finish is long, dry, and modest.
The medium body and slick, oily texture are accentuated by soft carbonation. It is surprisingly astringent and metallic. The alcohol is as expected.
While this is a decent beer, it's simply not to my preference. I did enjoy it on a mild, early spring afternoon.
