One word: astringent. Tart, funky, a little sour. Vague pine and vague fruitiness (grapefruit? pineapple? mango?) someone else can probably be more specific about. Despite being a triple IPA the hops do hide the booziness well--it almost feels "light" to drink despite the fairly over-the-top bitterness.
