Pub in Ellsworth
Very English pub feel, from the tables to English leather booths, mirrors on the wall, to the cartoony pictures of English misers on the wall. Even the ceiling pattern. Lots of shiny stained dark wood, and 4 cask beer engines. Classic rock playing on the speakers.
The one bartender and server was knowledgeable and friendly while he served quite a few tables and all the drinks.
They had 12 regular taps and 4 cask beer engine taps, 2 of the regular taps being nitro. Many different settles, mostly English themed, of the beers I had about half were decent or within style, and the other half were not that good or far from style.
I did not try the food but it looked good and was quite UK themed.

This review is of the Airline Brewing Company's pub located on Main Street in Ellsworth, ME. This is a small watering hole with five tables and a short bar. While the menu is brief, the food is quite good. I went during the summer of the pandemic and everyone was properly masked and socially distant.
There were twelve original beers on tap featuring a pretty good variety, although there were three stouts. The server was friendly and readily offered any assistance I needed but I waited about 10 minutes while he cleaned the beer lines.Four different beer sizes were offered, including a 5 ounce pour to taste the beer. The beer quality was good but not special.
The food was a step above typical beer bar fare both in originality and in quality. My roast beef cheddar sandwich was served hot with a side of horseradish aioli.
Overall, this is a place worth stopping at if you are in the Acadia area.
