This seasonal fester is our interpretation of the classic German lagers of Oktoberfest. Brewed with continental malts, hops & our house Bavarian lager yeast, this traditional amber lager is suited to quench your thirst all day long.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This marzen pours a dark burnt auburn
color with a nice head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin
layer, and shows some nice lacing. Nose of toasted malts, spicy hops,
and breaded malts with some fruit hints. Flavors follow the nose with
spicy hops, grassy hops, light biscuit, dark breaded malt, caramel, and
some peach elements. Nice mouth feel; medium light body, medium
light carbonation with nice lift, and a balanced herbal hop and malt
finish.
Overall, decent, but a bit outside of the standard for taste.
Cheers

12 ounce can, date is smudged but it looks like it says canned on 07/26/21. Another brew thanks to Brutaltruth! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a dark amber/burnt orange color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stayed around for a long time. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like toasted and bready malt, spicy hops and a bit of caramel. Doesn't taste as good as it smells though. It's similar to the aroma but lighter, and there's also some dark fruit/raisin flavor noticeable, don't taste that in an Oktoberfest very often if at all. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's slick, smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. Worth a try if you're able, hopefully I'll be able to try it fresher next year.
