Our guide recommended this brewery. My wife had the wheat and I ordered this Lager. Bready, fresh, and delicious on a warm July day. My favorite draft beer encountered on our four country vacation.

This is an unfiltered Pilsner served in a .5L mug.
The beer is cloudy with a yellow straw color and white head. The head sticks around quite a while but there is little lacing.
The aroma has a light graininess, noble hops and some yeast esters that aren't typical to the style but this is unfiltered so I suppose it's to be expected.
The aroma is pilsen malt, light apple, some yeast esters and very nice noble hop finish.
This is great on a warm day and if you're in Luzern you have to stop by and give it a try.

Had this at the Rathaus Brewery in Lucern, Switzerland and was underwhelmed by it. The appearance is a cloudy yellow with a two inch white head. Good amount of lacing on the glass. Slightly sour, fruity aftertaste. Not the best beer I had in Lucern (that would be Eicchof's Braugold)--but worth a try.

Cloudy yellow, forming a nice white head with good retention and great lacing. Carbonation is strong. Aroma is of unfiltered Reuss River, lemon, and an ale fruitiness despite being told it's a lager by a barmaid with poor English. Mouthfeel is fizzy, yet soft with a wet, zesty finish. Taste begins with delicate herbal hops, giving way to the taste of river water, a pleasant ruddy maltiness, and a lingering floral maltiness with a well-balanced bitterness. A satisfying, fresh brew that is easy to drink
