Dark copper in color, lighter than expected for a Baltic porter. A full finger of head with minimal lacing. Light smoke, oak tannins, a touch of peat and iodine on the nose. A briny palate balanced with caramel sweetness and brown sugar from the barrel treatment. Pretty solid effort.
