500ml bottle bought from McHughs, Dublin
Poured a light golden orange colour with quite a lot of floaties. Creamy head poured pretty thick and foamy then faded quickly to good thickish covering (about half a finger) with thick edging.... no carbonation at all... very little lacing...
Aroma - Strong sweet fruits (pinapples, apricots, apples and some pears), lots of grainy / biscuity maltiness, some almond / marzipan notes, loads of spicy / peppery / grassy hops, floral honey, some yeasty / bready notes, faint toastiness...
Taste Pretty much as the aromas but slightly watered down with a prominent apple and pear fruitiness...
Feel - Pretty sharp and dry... light medium bodied... A supremely drinkable brew - very sessionable....
Overall - An excellent find - i just picked this up on a whim... a very tasty and drinkable brew...
