This big robust cookie porter is rammed full of just about everything you’d want to find in a boisterous imperial beer. Lactose and oats aid a silky mouthfeel, maple syrup brings sugar complexity and vanilla elevates the cookie profile further. You’ll be bombarded with wave after wave of indulgent chocolate and rich dark malts from the complex malt backbone. Fantastically balanced and perfect for a beer float.

Pours a pitch black coloration with a medium, lasting, creamy head. Smells of roasted, caramel malt and chocolate, with lighter notes of hazelnuts, lactose/vanilla and just a hint of grassy hops. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by roasted, slightly caramelly malt, chocolate and hazelnuts, as well as lighter notes of toffee, lactose/vanilla, maple sweetness and just a hint of grassy/herbal hops. Finishes bittersweet, with a light bitterness and some vanilla and maple notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A decently balanced "Porter" that is perhaps a little on the sweet side, but still nicely balanced by roasted, bitter notes, with not a hint of booziness to it.
