Brownish black with four fingers of billowing tan foam, rising to the rim. Spotty lace and a diminishing head that fades into a spotty skim.
Rich aroma of chocolatey black malt, toasted marshmallow, brownie batter, light bourbon barrel.
Creamy rich chocolate brownies, toasted almonds, whiskey, hints of vanilla.
Medium to full bodied with a creamy texture, bittersweet, dry finish, light oak traces. Lightly boozy, but not distracting. Actually pretty drinkable considering the double digit ABV. Rich, balanced and very tasty.
