Pours a standard very dark brown with hints of transparency around the edges when held up to the light. It smells like slightly sweet coffee that skews slightly acidic and has a slightly raisin and earthy finish. The taste has a quick flash of the toffee sweetness up front which then settles into a nice chocolate coffee bitterness with a very slight hint of acidity to go along with the mild bitter finish. This one shines in the feel category because it's a cold weather crusher. I could sit inside when the weather is crappy all day without it ever feeling too heavy. Overall very good.

Pours with an inch thick head that fizzles down and sticks around the edges for the duration of the beer. Pretty dark look to it but it isnt pitch black. A coffee mixed with earthy tones comes to the nose and those coffee notes really shine in the taste. A decent beer that is pretty refreshing. It hits the marks to where I could have a couple of these if I went out.
