L: pours brilliant copper amber under a 1" cream colored foam cap with a slight gold tint and fair retention

S: big malt aromas of bread crumb, bread crust, mild spice and light nuts.

T: Rich malts lead the flavors featuring bread crumb, bread crust, mildly sweet light caramel, spice and a faint hint of anise. It is slightly sticky on the lips but medium bitterness from the hops and a mild alcohol flavor balance the malt sweetness and finish with a pleasant lingering malty bitterness.

F: creamy, clean and smooth with a medium plus body and medium to medium low carbonation
