Hey come on, it’s not THAT bad, had much worse back in Hungary. TBH it is on par with most of the American Adjuncts - almost like a cerveza. Doesn’t taste too bad although the carbonation throws it off a little - and then there’s a slight metallic foul aftertaste to it, otherwise it would be AOK. Still I am going to drink this again for a mere 47 cents for sure.

Landgraf Premium Schankbier
500ml can, dated "21.07.14 0306161 21:55"
Landgraf pours a crystal clear light gold body with a little bit of a brass cast to it. The head is a creamy white; holding fairly well and leaving some nice thin rings of lacing and smears of tiny spots behind.
The aroma expresses a combination of basic golden malt with some dull hops. Fortunately, a hint of light apple helps to give it some character.
The flavor is as might be expected given the aroma. It's a basic Euro lager with a median bitterness. The dull hops are basically grassy and herbal, offering little flavor other than to just balance the (also dull) malt.
In the mouth it's delivers a medium-light body with a moderate carbonation that leaves it delicately tingling and smooth.
Overall: a very basic European lager that's probably not worth trying.

500ml can. Purchased at a random grocery store near the border of Austria and Liechtenstein. Best before 19.01.12.
It pours a pale gold with a fluffy industrial-type bright white head. It leaves the typical spotted lacing.
The smell is a mix of malt (alcoholi/nutty/malt extracty), grassy hops, industrial twang, and fruitiness.
The flavor follows. It has some dough, a slight bit of dacetyl, a slight twang, some water, metal, fruitiness, and a slight bit of hops. Yeah that is a mouthful, but it has a lot of different flavors. All in all, however, they don’t function well together and it ends up just being a mediocre, slightly messy industrial pale lager.
