August 6th, 2016 - A light, bright beer, with a shaving soap head, this is a gorgeous beer in the harsh afternoon San Diego light. A little butter in the aroma whets my appetite, but more popcorn, and a little crab meat (fresh, and rich with umami!) The taste is sadly, very bland and very dry. They really dodge the sugars here and it's very evident here, though I do appreciate the crispness. And alongside that crisp quality is a heavier body, too.
