Collaboration with Other Half Brewing Co.
CROCCANTE is our new collaboration with Other Half (New York), a brewery that we consider among the best in the world and to which we are very close.
We have created a 10% Imperial Stout with a full body and a very creamy mouthfeel.
Fermented with black cherry and conditioned with the addition of vanilla, cocoa and hazelnut.

Black, light brown colored foam, not long standing.
In the smell a lot of chocolate, vanilla, blacj cherry. Some alcohol.
In the taste a lot of vanilla, then again black cherry, and the chocolate again in the aftertaste.
Hazelnut.
Peculiar. The experiment of a liquid Croccante is succesfull. The pleasantness of the beer is another point.
Well done, a bit boring and sweet.

Poured to a BrewDog snifter.
Quick notes:
A: Body is pitch black. Head is dark brown with no retention.
S: Aroma is subtle on good coffee, fresh chocolate, and good roasted malts.
T: Taste is fresh from other super powered coconut-infused or pastry stouts fever where you find a genuine good beer using regular products for a milk stout. It has a deep lactose finish that binds everything together.
M: Body is medium to high. Alcohol is unnoticeable running at 10%. Sweetness is controlled.
O: Lovely beer that I'd love to have once again in the future.
