Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/stone fruit hops, with notes of lime and apricot. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly floral and herbal hops, with citrus and lighter stone fruit and tropical notes of lemon, lime, apricot and papaya, as well as some herbal accents, with a hint of basil. Finishes with a very light bitterness and some lime and apricot lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I really love these single-hopped beers because sometimes they can surprise you or even give you a better understanding of a certain hop variety than in beers where they are mixed up with various other hops. This is certainly such a case and though those typical, zesty lime and lemon notes are certainly coming through distiunctly here, the hop seems a lot more versatile than I had previously thought, with some lighter stone fruit and tropical notes, as well as herbal accents. Overall, this makes for a very interesting and enjoyable beer with a very nice body and mouthfeel as well.
