Our interpretation of an east coast India Pale Ale. It’s aroma is full of citrus, fruit and pine with a well balanced drinkable bitterness.

16 oz. Can opened on 3/9/19
Honey colored liquid, opaque but not really hazy. A short, white foam top levels off pretty fast, settles down quick, leaves some decent coverage.
It sure has a very strong nose, lychee, bing cherries, pineapple, apple suace and alcohol heat pops out of this hop combo and malt. The malt has a sweet, amber tinge with fruity and sour tones from the hops. Pretty interesting.
A bit of a flat, soured fruitiness from the hops that bring forth a snappy and grainy earthiness. Cherries, tangy starfruit on a mundane level seems pretty juicy, but also very thin in the texture. Earthy grains from the malty side with an odd and strange sweetness that rides on. Peppery and sour toned flavors never really blend well together and the overall effect is underwhelming at best.
The flavors are sort of all over the place with very little "wow" factor and some rather strange effects and complexities. Not an IPA I will be revisiting.

Poured into a 13 oz Free Will Teku glass canned 2/21/19. Pours a dark orange with a massive 3 finger off white head that covers the glass with thick foamy rings of lace, excellent retention. 4.25
Smell is tangerine, apricot, passionfruit, and just a hint of pineapple. 3.75
Taste follows tangerine, apricot, passionfruit, and pineapple very little if any bitterness. 3.75
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, plenty soft on the palate, a little sticky but not dry, and at 6.5% ABV easy drinking. 3.75
Overall nothing wrong with this, just lacking any wow factor. I was hoping for more from this brewery I had never heard of.

Large, slowly receding head. Bumpy remnants with only moderate lacing in the form of large spots and some streaks. The liquid is dark, dirty gold. Hazy.
Light sweetness to the nose initially. More berry like than tropical fruit. Nicely balanced floral hop presence. Smooth and inviting.
The tongue gets crushed pale barley malt up front followed by the aforementioned berry sweetness. There's a touch of alcohol just prior to the swallow. The hop bitterness shows up solidly but without blowing out the tastebuds. It's bitter enough to be an American IPA, but doesn't come close to being an extreme beer. Again, the body (and taste) is smooth with just enough carbonation to prevent the sweetness from dominating. Long, but subtle, aftertaste.
