Taking its cues from the gently roasted and caramelized Vienna malts from which it gets its name, Woodwell Vienna Lager joins the ranks of Fore River's 2021 Winter Beer Releases with toasted maltiness, delicate dryness and a subtle floral spice from Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. Lovingly described by our brewers as liquid toast, Woodwell arrives with a bright copper color and an ABV of 5.5%.

Poured a classic bronze with an off-white head. Expressive malts with decent tones of caramel pairs wonderfully with the brown bread, light toast and leafy old world hops in both the smell and taste. Feel is malty the whole way, a touch heavy for style, but highly drink and smooth with decent chew to it. Paired great with lobster roll. The wife liked it
