Copenhagen 30/9 2018. 50 cl bottle from Ninkasira Bottleshop, Kbh N. Indian who does not look very much like a Apache on the label. Curious classification as a "Wit IPA".
Looks pretty much as a Wit when you pour it. Pours hazy golden yellow with very small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense. Sweet fruit and lemonade. Orange, citrus with a sweet, sugary undercurrent.
Light carbonation Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
The Indian Pale Ale kicks in when I get to the flavor. Medium sweetness followed by strong, rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingering for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Quite weird combination of styles - but it actually manages to end up in a decent beer.
